as we walk

Let your hand clasp my hand love
as we together steadily walk
amongst these rasping hogs
amongst these grating dogs.
Please, clasp my hand: do not let go
though they do not like it at all.
Let us together listen less
to these sneering snakes
though huge might be the stakes
so that the sweet love summits
we must caress when time permits
that would solidify our
union to the world by each hour.
Hold unto my hand love
we will defy the pull of gravity
of harsh hogs. Just put on the brevity.
